Jeff Kubacki is the Founder and CEO of CIO Consulting Services, LLC, a professional services firm providing fractional and interim CIO services to companies of all sizes across the United States. Jeff is an award winning, five-time global CIO with industry experience that includes durable goods manufacturing, nuclear power, aerospace & defense, consumer products, medical devices & food safety.
Previously, Jeff was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Winnebago Industries, Inc for over three years as the company grew from $1B in sales to close to $3B following thee significant acquisitions. Winnebago Industries is a leading manufacturer of outdoor lifestyle products under the Winnebago, Grand Design, Newmar and Chris-Craft brands, which are used primarily in leisure travel and outdoor recreation activities. Jeff was responsible for overseeing the Company’s Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and information security in addition to articulating a clear future state enterprise information architecture. He also Co-Chaired the Enterprise Risk Management Steering Committee.
Kubacki previously was Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Westinghouse Electric Company, the world’s leading supplier of safe and innovative nuclear technology. Jeff was responsible for the overall development and implementation of the IT strategic plan to support the global operations of Westinghouse.
Jeff is a results-driven and analytical CIO of high integrity. He has led the IT function of nearly half a dozen major IT organizations. He always leaves the IT function in definitively better shape at the end of his tenure than when he arrived. He is especially strong at building world class teams and world class ecosystems. I have been honored to have Jeff as a collaborator.
Prior to that position he was Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Alliant Techsystems (ATK), a Fortune 500 defense, aerospace and sporting goods company. As the company’s primary IT strategist, Jeff planned, developed and oversaw ATK’s information technology infrastructure, applications and resources. Additionally, he provided leadership to the Indirect Supply Chain Management organization.
From 2007 to 2010, Jeff served as Vice President & Chief Information Officer for the Kroll division of the Marsh & McLennan Companies. In that role he was responsible for Kroll’s worldwide information systems and services functions. Previously he served as Vice President, Information Technology for Ecolab, where he assumed responsibility for multiple areas as part of his global leadership role including being the Interim CIO. Prior to that, he served as Director of Information Technology for Dell Inc., providing IT leadership to the Americas Service Delivery business.
Jeff holds an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, and received his Bachelor of Technology degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY. Jeff was the recipient of the 2011 Twin Cities CIO of the Year and was a 2018 Twin Cities CIO of the Year Orbie finalist and a nominee in 2019 and 2020. He is a founding member of the Twin Cities Council and Chair of Membership Committee.
