John Stigmon is focused on the art of leadership. He shares that passion by assisting organizations in achieving superior business results utilizing a process that is non-linear, intuitive and holistic. Results allow organizations to improvise effectively in fast-changing environments and manage ongoing change for positive results.
Over the past 35 years, John has been active in the franchise and licensing industry as a CEO and COO. His experience has been focused on leading the marketing, operations, expansion, and development in the U.S. and 16 foreign countries, for a variety of US companies. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded and was CEO of the first American Indian owned franchise company, and later established a specialty executive coaching and consulting practice advising in organizational development, business start-up, and expansion.
John’s diverse experience includes being a CEO of a regional economic development collaborative and vice-chair of an American Indian tribe’s multi-million dollar off-reservation enterprise. One of John’s core values is to give back to his community and as a result, he has had many volunteer leadership opportunities including vice-chair of a municipal planning and zoning commission, board member of a not-for-profit organization committed to helping individuals with disabilities to become independent, and as a board member of a local community theater.
He has been an advisor to the Center for American Indian Economic Development and a member of the College of Arts and Letters Advisory Council both located at Northern Arizona University.
