John is an accomplished executive with domestic and international business development experience focused on recruiting, staff management, strategic positioning and planning, operations and acquisitions in startup and growth organizations. His strength is effective leadership through collaborative relationships, business growth through marketing & brand planning and management development by instituting strategic business planning processes.

John is focused on the art of leadership. He shares that commitment by assisting organizations in achieving superior business results utilizing a process that is non-linear, intuitive and holistic. Results allow organizations to improvise effectively in fast changing environments and manage ongoing change for positive results.

Over the past 35 years, John has been active in the franchise and licensing industry as a CEO and COO. His experience has been focused on leading the marketing, operations, expansion and development in the US and 16 foreign countries, for a variety of US companies. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded and was CEO of the first American Indian-owned franchise company, and later established a specialty executive coaching and consulting practice advising in organizational development, business start-up and expansion.

John’s diverse experience includes being a CEO of a regional economic development collaborative, and vice-chair of an American Indian tribe’s multi-million dollar off reservation enterprise. He has been an advisor to the Center for American Indian Economic Development and a member of the College of Arts and Letters Advisory Council both located at Northern Arizona University.
