Ms. Pamela S. Knox is an innovative and enthusiastic leader of an award-winning company with a record of directing a successful woman-owned business. She demonstrates a broad spectrum of knowledge in business operations, corporate HR, social services, auditing and contract acquisition and management. She presents a visionary drive to seek solutions to enhance operational excellence and improve quality while ensuring financial success.
Ms. Knox achieved success for over 35 years in contract acquisition and management with the Federal Government, State of Arizona and Pima County of over 100 million dollars. Her experience in auditing and compliance led to highly successful audits by the Government, with achievements in excess of industry standards. She was instrumental in developing innovative program service ideas for the Government to address societal concerns for our Veterans, native American juveniles and the adult criminal population. These innovations have been recognized at a national and state level through awards such as a Top 100 business in southern AZ multiple years and as a SASIE (Southern Arizona Smart Inspiring Enterprise) award winner.
Ms. Knox attended Evangel University and graduated with honors from the University of Akron with her BA in Psychology. She attended Master’s degree work at the University of Wisconsin in Communications, achieved Human Resources certification in 2000-2018 as a PHR/CP and was previously certified as a Sex Offender Counselor.
Ms. Knox is a founding member of Bamaland Development, LLC, a property acquisition and management company located in Arizona and Alabama, with expertise in property acquisition to achieve maximum profitability and quality property management. She is the President of Aquila, Inc, an innovative ideas company and is President and CEO of Knox Consulting and Advisory Group, Inc, which specializes in contract management, acquisition and negotiation, risk management policy and practice development, auditing of existing policy and practice and compliance issues related to startups and small businesses. She is particularly interested in assisting woman owned businesses to achieve optimum growth and performance.
Pam is committed to her responsibility of giving back to the community and has been tapped to serve on numerous nonprofit boards such as; Junior Achievement, Social Service Contractors Insurance Pool (a system developed to ensure proper operation and liability coverage for Arizona social service agencies), United Way, International Community Corrections Association and several nonprofits which offer disaster assistance and relief services. She has taught financial and entrepreneurial acuity to high school students through the JA program.
Ms. Knox was also appointed and served on the Obama Presidential Task Force Community subgroup for reformation of the federal prison system, has done community mission work in Brazil and the Dominican Republic and has written and directed numerous plays and dramas that have been performed in the community. She assisted the University of Arizona Foundation in building a grand new sports complex for the Athletic Department.
She is married to a retired Marine, has 5 grandsons and is an avid University of Arizona basketball and football donor and fan.
